Kendall Physical Therapy was founded to provide high quality one-to-one personal physical therapy between therapists and patients. We are a local, growing clinic owned and operated by a physical therapist.
If you're looking for more fulfilling service between you and your patients, please apply to join our thriving and growing private practice. Our full time therapists will see up to 8-10 patients daily.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 physical therapy to patients
- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic exercises to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercises and self-care.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional standards with OptimisPT software.
Requirements:
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience working in a hospital, out-patient or healthcare setting is preferred, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Ability to perform trigger point therapy and other manual therapy techniques. Willingness to learn and possibly become certified in dry needling, cupping therapy, myofascial release, and Graston technique.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills to develop appropriate treatment plans for each patient's unique needs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
